Emailing your contacts
Artlook isn’t an email client itself, but it can produce the addresses for one — Outlook, Gmail, or most other standard clients, as well as mailing services like Mailchimp.
Exporting addresses
Select the contacts you want to email on the Contacts index, then switch to the Query Pane’s Actions tab and use Export. The arrow next to it gives you four options:
- Postal addresses — export postal addresses instead of emails, for mailing labels or a print run.
- Emails as CSV — every email address in one comma-separated line. Most email clients, and spreadsheets, can use this format directly.
- Emails as a list — the same addresses, one per line.
- Email/name list — each contact’s name together with their email address.
If you’re not sure which format you need, it’s easy enough to try each one in turn and see which works with whatever you’re pasting it into.
