Contacts settings

The Contacts settings tab controls how contact records are displayed:

• Show phone numbers / email address / profile picture / postal address in index display — whether each of these shows on the Contacts index. Turning them off can help privacy if you’re working on a screen other people can see.
• Show alternative delivery address in editable display — whether the optional delivery address tab shows when editing a contact.
• Mailing List — whether contacts get a mailing list checkbox on their Main information tab.
• Preferred display field — whether contacts are referred to by their Full name or by File as (which defaults to Surname, Firstname, but you can override it, including with an organisation name).
