Lists settings

Artlook has a lot of places where you pick from a dropdown list — tags and categories on inventory items, tags on contacts, and so on. You can add to most of these lists on the fly, just by typing in something new, but it’s worth setting your lists up sensibly before you start.

The Lists settings tab lets you manage six lists: Categories, Subcategories, Media, Groupings, Item Tags and Contact Tags.

Pick a list to see its current entries. Click the × on an entry to remove it; type a new one and press Enter to add it.

Click Descriptions on the Categories list to add a description for each category — useful if you want that text to appear on your website.
